Gasthaus Behnsen in Gehrden

I've often been to the beer garden at Gasthaus Behnsen to eat. It was always delicious and freshly cooked. However, the cook has a preference for plenty of sauce. Today I had an extra meal, pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon with savoy cabbage. It was very tasty and cheap. But I had the feeling that the cook used glutamate-containing agents.

Great goose, tasty kale with plenty of side dishes. Always recommended.

We were very enthusiastic about the very good quality of the dishes that were prepared in toln. An excellent meal in a cozy atmosphere. Gladly again.

The location seems a bit carelessly designed, service and kitchen can do with a little more enthusiasm and dedication to the guests and products.

Nondescript guest house in a small "village" with a nice outdoor area. The parking lot situation is not ideal but the guest house cannot help but still 5 stars. Good selection of dishes, friendly service and good value for money.

Very good food, nothing to complain about! BUT: the phone was deliberately switched off today (Sunday, from 5 p.m.) because [quote from a service person] "the boss is alone in the kitchen". Accordingly, it was not possible to order pick-up by phone !! When we drove off to order on site and then take the food with us, only the outside area was open and only about 30-40% full. Anyone who cannot or does not even want to use the telephone (despite 3 underutilized service staff) has no control over the shop. This is an absolute NO GO for a service provider! - therefore max. 3 stars

A few weeks ago we were our first guest with friends. We sat in the garden, we really liked the ambience outside and was suitable for an inn in the surrounding area. Since the chanterelle season had started, 3 of us ordered something with chanterelles and a schnitzel with fried potatoes was still there ... The service was quick, attentive and nice ... We didn't sit with empty glasses for long because there was always asked if it was something else may be (in the sense of making sales ?) it must be. The portion of our dishes was gigantic so that the men at the table also had to fight. So we were able to explain the possibly 1 euro more which one compares less in the area (surrounding area, Barsinghausen, etc.) less. Food was super good ... will definitely be back.

The entrance to the very nice beer garden leads through a large barn door. I like it very much.

Great and good inn. What was surprised by the quality of the dishes, we had rather expected a Stsmdard inn. Much is different here. Fresh and creative recipes alongside the traditional, all freshly prepared. The dishes are very varied so that everyone can find something. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will be happy to come back when we come back to this region

People! A "MUST" for every beer garden lover! And first the menu! Diverse, generous portions and delicious! Reasonable prices! Highly recommended!

The food was delicious. The service very fast. Great atmosphere in the garden
